Official Clan Scene Rules and Regulations

WHAT IS THE CLAN SCENE?
The Clan Scene is a league of users that have formed groups called clans that engage in wars and matches for fun, honor, or bragging rights.

HOW DO I MAKE OR JOIN A CLAN?
In order to form an official clan in Clan Scene, you need a name, and at least 3 members. If you are unable to find enough participants in your clan, joining a less populated clan is usually the way to go. Though be warned, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TIME OR EFFORT TO BE IN A CLAN OR RUN A CLAN, DON'T JOIN OR START ONE.

HOW DO I CHALLENGE OTHER CLANS AND SET UP CLAN WARS?
Simply either PM the leader of the clan you are challenging or create a topic on the board. This generates activity and discussion.

SETTING UP THE WAR AND THE DETAILS YOU WILL NEED BEFORE THE WAR
This is the most important part of any clan war, failure for proper planning and discussion usually results in poor sportsmanship or heated debates between clans.
Details you will need to have are:
-Date/Time This is the hardest detail to schedule. Finding a time and date for all participants is challenging but a must.
-Rounds: Clan wars will be based on either best of 3 or best of 5 rounds. ALL ROUNDS ARE PLAYED REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME
-Time Limit: 15 minutes per round. Non Negotiable.
-Kill Limit: 50 kills per round. Can also be 40 kills per round if both clans agree to it.
-Game Mode: Either Grab Bag, Hardcore, or any mix of the two. Clans have to weigh in choices and the most votes determines the game mode.
-Bans: Weapon bans and weapon based perk bans are allowed if both parties agree on them. Common ones are SMAW, PR Tuning and Widow Specialization. NON WEAPON PERKS BANS ARE NOT ALLOWED
-Maps: To be agreed on by the clans involved. Every round should have a different map. No repeats. Also FFA maps are banned from use. (Dig Site, Abyss, etc.)
-Players: 3v3 is the minimum. 2v2 is not acceptable for a ranking clan match. 4v4 is the maximum amount of players allowed. Anymore players increase the chance of lag and disconnects. Hosts should be one of the two clan leaders or serving clan leaders in the war.

MISCELLANEOUS RULES AND REGULATIONS

-ONLY ONE PHASE RIFLE USER PER TEAM IS ALLOWED
-ONLY ONE REVERSE DAMAGE USER PER TEAM IS ALLOWED
-ONLY ONE WIDOW MAKER TURRET USER PER TEAM IS ALLOWED
-CLAN LEADERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MULTI CLAN
-NON CLAN LEADERS ARE ABLE TO MULTI CLAN IF THE CLANS THEY PLAY FOR ALLOW IT
-IF CLANS CANNOT SHOW A FULL ROSTER AT THE DESIGNATED TIME AND DATE, THE WAR IS POSTPONED AND RESCHEDULED. NO HANDICAP MATCHES. IF A CLAN IS UNABLE TO PRESENT A FULL ROSTER FOR A WAR, THEY GET 3 ATTEMPTS TO DO SO. IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO PRESENT A FULL ROSTER FOR THE 3RD WAR THEY FORFEIT
-SUBBING IS ALLOWED ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF EXHIBITION. SUBBING PLAYERS DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE CLAN RANKINGS THEREFORE THE MATCH IS AN EXHIBITION IF AGREED TO BE PLAYED.
-CLANS ARE ABLE TO ROTATE MEMBERS BETWEEN ROUNDS IF THEY WISH. THE HOST HAS TO STAY HOWEVER.
-SPAWN TIME WILL BE SET BETWEEN ZERO AND FIVE SECONDS IN TEAM DEATHMATCH. OBJECTIVE MODES HAVE SPAWN TIMES SET TO DEFAULT.
-AMMO DUMPS ARE BANNED
-WARS ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO TEAM DEATH MATCH. IF BOTH CLANS AGREE, OBJECTIVE MODES ARE ALLOWED
-CLAN LEADERS ARE ALLOWED THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PLAYING AGAINST A MEMBER OF THEIR CLAN THAT IS MULTI-CLANNING FOR THE OPPOSING CLAN

THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS WERE AGREED UPON BY THE MAJORITY OF CLAN LEADERS IN THE CURRENT ACTIVE CLANS
